Organized by IHOBE, the Euskalduna Palace will celebrate between February 26 and 27 `20 years since the start of the first eco-design projects in the Basque Country´
SDA Factory will be present at the Ecodesign Meeting-BEM2020 Congress organized by IHOBE to celebrate 20 years since the start of the first eco-design projects in the Basque Country. Thus, he will attend this event with two state-of-the-art ECO irons, fully designed and produced in his center of Vitoria-Gasteiz. The congress will gather half a thousand attendees and will take place at the Euskalduna Palace (Bilbao) on February 26, 27 and 28.
“Make known the work developed by Basque companies during these years.” That is the goal that Ihobe has set itself and the reason why he has invited and has SDA to participate in the Congress and exhibit his products. “We will show two irons that are a true reflection of eco-design and adhere to circular economy parameters,” says Iñaki Castresana, head of organization at SDA Factory. “They not only represent a significant saving in their energy consumption but also in the production and packaging process the materials to be used have been reduced and their carbon footprint has been taken into account.”
Attendees of the Euskalduna Palace will be able to see an iron and an ironing center, to be exact. The first is a horizontal plate, produced under the Ufesa brand, the PV3500 model; and the second is a new vertical ironing center, made for Di4, the Jet Pressing Xtream Compact 8b model. Both products reduce electricity consumption above 25% and water consumption by 35%.
The products of SDA once the Congress ends will become part, together with the rest that other Basque companies will present, of a complete catalog that will be available in both physical and digital format, and that will be edited by IHOBE in Spanish / Basque and English with the objective of being the letter of introduction of the Basque Country and its companies before the rest of entities and agents at international level to show the work developed in the Basque Country in Ecodesign in these years.
The exhibition will be divided into ten categories, one for each of the main sectors of activity present: chemical, metal, food, electric-electronic, automotive, mobility, furniture, machinery, construction materials and consumer products.
